Step One: Adding your own ship to the map.

The beauty of this endeavor is that you can add your own airship to the map. Just navigate to the area your ship resides or originates in and then click "Add Location." A marker should appear on the map and an input section on the left of said map. If you cannot see the marker zoom put until you do, it will be blue.

You can select marker color and add details. Do add details please. We all want to know about your ship and its crew and their activities. Afterwards if, you like, you have the ability to edit details or even move your marker if say you were headed to a gathering and wanted to show where your ship would be moored.

Is There A Need?

Esteemed viewers of my kinotropic engine based airship atlas,

Do take a moment from your harried day to let me know how you feel about this etherweb site. I have thus far committed a few hours of leisurely effort in this endeavor. If response is positive then I will continue to keep this up.

Thank you,

  1. This sounds like a useful tool.

You may list the Airship Othernaut, located in Oklahoma City, OK.

Are you going to also list details about the airships, or only their locations?

  2. Indeed, anybody should be able to list their airship, details, and multimedia links like daguerreotypes or videos.

  3. well, it's definitely a positive response from my end. I try and keep tabs on who and what is out there. as this fleshes out it will hopefully be a great way to find and contact passing ships.

  4. Perhaps some sort of collaboration with the Steampunk Atlas (http://www.steampunkatlas.com) would be a good move? I understand they are going global soon.
